During a case last year, a High Court Judge actually went as far to overturn a will because the two witnesses that were apparently present were not at the day of the signing. The witnesses did not see one another sign the will and they could not guarantee that it was done in one another’s presence. The will was challenged because the witnesses signed the will on two different days, at two different locations. The law regarding this states that both of the people who are witnesses need to be there at the same time as the Testator in order for their part to be valid.
